(a) Whether there is any proposal for concurrent evaluation of welfare schemes; (b) if so, the details thereof; and (c) to what extent concurrent evaluation of schemes will increase the efficiency and quality of outcome of all rural development schemes?
ANSWER
MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SHRI PRADEEP JAIN ‘ADITYA’)
(a) & (b): The Ministry organizes concurrent evaluation on regular basis of all rural development schemes through independent research organisations.
(c): Concurrent Evaluations bring out the strengths and weaknesses of schemes, which would help increase in the efficiency and quality of outcome of rural development schemes.
